Capital City Chorus is proud to have the following quartets associated with our chorus. We endorse all of them as excellent singers and entertainers, suitable for any occasion...
Kathy Clough (tenor), Pam Ross (Lead), Norma Rash (Baritone), and Fran Furtner (bass)
The members of iTones love singing a cappella harmony in the barbershop style and have a collective 100+ years of barbershop experience. They are a long-distance quartet, with members living in Indianapolis, IN, Lawrenceburg, KY, and Cincinnati, OH – but the distance doesn’t keep these good friends from rehearsing, performing, and laughing together regularly.
iTones is an accomplished quartet. They are proud to be the 2013 Region 4 Quartet Champion and placed 38th in the world in the 2013 Sweet Adelines International Quartet Competition in Hawaii. Moreover, iTones was named “Most Improved Quartet” in Region 4 three times and placed numerous times among the Top 5 Medalist quartets in regional competitions.
Although family priorities and the pandemic have slowed down their competitive activities in recent years, iTones has been performing on shows, taped videos, and at events. They pride themselves on providing top-quality, family-friendly entertainment and look forward to adding your event to their performance schedule. They are willing to travel, and performance fees are negotiable. You can follow iTones on Facebook. Switch! Is a newer quartet born during the pandemic, though some members have known each other their entire lives. Their quartet has a mother-daughter foundation in their bass Patti Autenrieth and baritone Tracy Roberts. They are joined by veteran Sweet Adeline and lead Jenny Hoffman and long-time choir singer and tenor Erica Smith. They started singing together in October of 2020 and quickly fell in sync representing Capital City Chorus for Jingle-Grams over the Holidays and Singing Valentines in February.
They landed on the name Switch! because they enjoy switching things up and are frequently trying out new parts with new songs. They love singing a wide variety of songs from classic barbershop to chart-toppers of today and are taking requests to perform at any event you may have. You can follow them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/SwitchQtet.
WRAPsody has enjoyed singing together since 2009. Their members--Sally Boothe, tenor; Beth Guzman, lead; Cheryl Rath, baritone; and Peggy Adams, bass, have over 75 joyful years of experience performing 4-part harmony sung a cappella. In addition to their quartet experience, Sally, Cheryl, and Beth sing with Capital City Chorus, and Peggy sings with One Voice Chorus--both chapters of Sweet Adelines International in Indianapolis, IN.
They are often asked about the odd spelling of their name—and they explain that during their first few years together, We Rehearsed At Peggy’s! (Kudos to Peggy for that genius idea). WRAPsody feels truly blessed to be able to enjoy this gift of song and would be glad to share it with you.
